Upon exit from the programme, the project leader undertakes to produce an end-of-project report. The project leader also undertakes to submit the latest version of the data management plan. A feedback meeting will be organised between the project leader, the PIQ Site Coordinator and the PIQ management team to discuss the programme and the project, as well as possible follow-up to the research project.
Exit from the programme at the end of a phase
If at the end of a phase:
- The project has achieved its final objectives or found a source of funding, meaning that support from the programme is no longer necessary or appropriate;
- The project leader decides to exit the programme in the event of a scientific impasse;
- PIQ Management, on the advice of the PIQ Expert Committee, decides to stop the project after revision of the roadmap in the case achieving the objectives set is not possible or convincing.
In an amendment to the payment agreement, Inria and the institution declare the end of the programme and the non-application of the following phases.
The funding commitments made in previous phases are maintained.
Early exit from the programme while maintaining already committed funding is a mechanism that enables the programme to discontinue its support for a project without jeopardising the recruitment that took place through the project.
