All researchers, faculty members, in the broadest sense, and research engineers in French research and higher education institutions.

Can an applicant be part of several PIQ projects at the same time? What is the percentage of commitment required?

No, the project leader is expected to be heavily involved in their project, which is incompatible with having several projects at the same time. Scientists are expected to devote most of their research time to the project, taking into account their teaching workload.

Does the project leader have to be a permanent employee?

The project leader does not have to be a permanent employee.

Does the project leader have to be a resident of France?

The applicant must be attached to a French Higher Education or Research organisation.

Can the PIQ Site Coordinator submit a PIQ application?

Yes, if this is the case the PIQ Site Coordinator is asked to contact PIQ Management.
